ABT G32 guide: power modes, puffs and charging

The ABT G32, sold earlier as the G32 Prime, is a rechargeable disposable rated for up to 32,000 puffs, with six power modes from 12 W to 28 W. Here is how the modes, puff count and charging work.

G32 or G32 Prime?

You will see both names online. The G32 Prime is the earlier name for the same ABT device, so a search for either one leads to the G32 we carry.

The six power modes

The G32 lets you choose how much power reaches its dual mesh coils, in six steps from 12 W to 28 W.

• Lower modes use e-liquid more slowly, so the device lasts longer. The draw is cooler and lighter.
• Higher modes heat the coils more, for a warmer, denser draw. They use e-liquid and battery faster.

The mode changes how the device feels, not its nicotine strength: the e-liquid is 20 mg/mL in every mode.

What "32,000 puffs" means

The puff count is the maker's rating, measured with short, even draws at a low setting. Long draws and the higher modes use e-liquid faster, so expect fewer puffs if you mostly vape at 28 W. Use the number to compare devices, not as a promise.

Nicotine

The G32 uses a hybrid blend of freebase and salt nicotine at 20 mg/mL, the Canadian maximum. A hybrid blend gives a firmer throat hit than salt nicotine alone at the same strength.

Battery and charging

• The 900 mAh battery recharges over USB-C. A cable may not be in the box.
• A large device needs several charges before its e-liquid runs out, so charge it when it runs low rather than waiting for it to stop.
• Use a standard USB-C cable and power source, and don't leave it charging unattended.

When it's empty

The G32 contains a lithium battery. Take it to a battery or electronics recycling drop-off, not the household garbage or recycling.
